This program is an extension from Phnom Penh including one night hotel accommodation in the booked hotel category on last night in Phnom Penh. This program can be attached to Classic Cambodia Tours (LA4-A and LA5-A) on day 2. For the total price just add the extension price to the Classic Tours LA4-A, LA5-A (LA1PD-A + LA4-A or LA5-A / not possible for LC2-A & LC3-A).

Day 1: PHNOM PENH – TAKEO – PHNOM PENH
Morning / Afternoon: Breakfast. 
Excursion to the last religious center of the Funan Kingdom. The temple Phnom Da is located 70 km from Phnom Penh in the province of Takeo. Departure by car on 07:30 from Phnom Penh to Takeo city. The way to Takeo takes you through some of Cambodia's most beautiful countryside. Arrival at 08:30. Speed boat ride to the temple on an old water channel constructed in the mid 6th century. Today this channel is still used for transportation between Cambodia and Vietnam. Along the river you can see duck farms, rice fields and fishing villages. At 10:00 we arrive at Phnom Da temple. The temple was constructed in the middle of the 6 century. It is a one tower temple built on the top of a mountain representing the mountain “Meru”. Visit a unique Indian-style sandstone temple, the Asram Maharosei. There is no other temple in Cambodia constructed in this style. On the way back, we visit a small museum with sculptures from the time of the Funan. Lunch in Takeo. After lunch we head back to Phnom Penh, with a short stopover at one of the temples constructed by King Jayavarman VII (1181-1219). Around 16:30 we arrive at your hotel in Phnom Penh. Dinner at a local restaurant (not incl.).



Day 2: PHNOM PENH
Morning: Breakfast. 
Continuing classic tour LA4-A or LA5-A.

Included: hotel accommodation in twin room with breakfast & lunch; all excursions and transfers by private vehicle with English, French or German speaking local guide; entrance tickets on site.
Not included: video/camera fee; drinks and personal expenses, insurance's.
