Day 1: SIEM REAP – PHNOM KULEN – SIEM REAP
Morning: Breakfast.
Excursion to one of the most famous Buddhist temples in Cambodia. Every weekend thousands of Khmers make a pilgrimage to
Phnom Kulen mountain. Jayavarman II proclaimed in 802 the Kingdom of Cambodia on this hill. See the holy river of the Thousand Lingas, cut into the sandstone bed of the river, which date’s back to 9th century. Further downstream, large blocks of stone, also under water, are carved with Apsaras dancer and Vishnu figures. Lunch will be served at an impressive 10m high waterfall, where you can take a refreshing swim.
Departure at 07:30, arrival back in Siem Reap town at about 18:00. Good walking shoes are indispensable. Lunch included.
Day 2: SIEM REAP (ANGKOR)
Morning: Breakfast.
Continuing classic tour LA4-A, LA5-A,
LA6-A, LC2-A or LC3-A.
