Bhutan - Cultural and Trekking Tour Program

RATES

The minimum daily tariff is regulated and fixed by the Royal Government�s body called the Department of Tourism, to monitor and control the tourism industry. The Government�s tourism policy is to pursue for �Low Volume, High Quality� tourists. As such, only a limited number of tourists visit Bhutan each year.

The minimum daily tariff at present is, USD 200.00 per person per night halt for high seasons (March, April, May, September, October & November) and USD 165.00 per person per night halt for low seasons (January, February, June, July, August & December).

This rate includes: Accommodation on twin sharing basis in Government approved hotels, all meals with evening tea and snacks, a comfortable transport within Bhutan, services of a licensed guide and entrance fees where applicable. However, the above cost does not include: Airfare, the visa fees of USD 20.00 at the port of entry, laundry, soft drinks and juices, alcoholic beverages, departure tax and any other expenses of personal nature. Also, please note that, there are surcharges on groups of less than three people. They are USD 40.00 per day on top of the above rate for a single person and USD 30.00 each per day for two persons.

NOTE:

1. All the above tours are good all year round except for the Wild East-West Cultural Tours, which will be good only during March to December.
2. Special itineraries can be arranged either in advance or on arrival to suit the individual clients� taste.
3. Indian visa is required to exit through Guwahati, Assam. Permits can be arranged from Bhutan if requests are made at least one month in advance.
